I am not fooling around with you- researchers at the Montana State University have figured out a way for fooling the immune system so that it turns out to be tolerant. This process is expected to enable people to tolerate rather than overreact to certain antigens. What causes this is a protein which can be fused with a number of antigens. Fusion of protein to a specific antigen enables researchers to target diseases and it turns out to be effective in small doses.
This should liven up the face of people suffering from inflammatory and autoimmune diseases and this discovery is expected to enable people dependant on pills or nasal sprays to prevent their bodies from overreacting to specific antigens. This way their immune system would become non-responsive rather than producing painful inflammations or allergic reactions.
